Product introduction
Using RT-qPCR technology to detect the expression of 21 genes in breast cancer (TaqMan probe), including 16 tumor related genes and 5 housekeeping genes. The result is quantified as the recurrence score (Recurrence Score, RS) in order to forecast the 10 years long-term recurrence risk and the benefits of chemotherapy. RS ranges from 0 to 100. The higher the score, the greater the possibility of relapse, and the more it can benefit from chemotherapy. Higher expression of "favorable gene" (hormone related, GSTM1, BAG1) will lead to a lower RS value, while higher expression of "unfavorable gene" (proliferative group, Her-2 group, invasive group and CD68) will result in a higher RS value.
